Fayetteville, North Carolina is located in southeastern North Carolina along Interstate 95, the main north-south route of the
eastern United States. Fayetteville is also the home of Pope Air Force Base and Fort Bragg, one of the United States Army’s largest military bases.
The population of the Fayetteville area, which includes Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base, is just over 300,000. Fayetteville, with over
203,000 residents, is Cumberland County's county seat and its largest municipality.
Fayetteville is the 6th largest city and the fourth largest metropolitan area in the state. It is among the fastest-growing areas in the state.
About 50,000 military personnel are stationed at Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base. In addition to active-duty personnel, the military
employs approximately 10,000 civilians.

There are several Chinese restaurants and several pizza houses within walking distance of Paddy's. Chris's Steak House
and Applebee's are also within walking distance.
Due to the proximity of Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base the cuisine in the Fayetteville area is more or less international. Almost every country in
the world is represented in the city and most within five miles of Paddy's. You can find something to please every palate and every budget.
Shopping
Highland Center strip mall is one block from Paddy's. Cross Creek Mall, Cross Creek Plaza, Cross Point Centre, Market Fair Mall, Westwood Shopping Center, and, of course,
Sam's and WalMart are all within five miles of Paddy's.

Parking
Parking is very limited in front of Paddy's Pub. However, there is ample parking around the building, at the bank in the back parking lot, and at nearby Highland Center. There are lots of museums in the Fayetteville area. All the special missions that our military forces are participating in at
the present time makes the Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville a must-see. A visit to this museum definitely increases the awareness of how much our forces have done for us in the past and

The 82d Airborne Division War Memorial Museum is open to the public, the archives by appointment only. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am to 4:30pm. The museum is also open on federal holidays that fall on Mondays, but closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is free.
Airborne & Special Operations Museum

Designed by Michael West of the architectural firm of Calloway, Johnson, Moore & West in Winston-Salem, NC, the dramatic 59,000 square-foot building is highlighted by the 5,000 square-foot, five-story high open lobby area. The main exhibit gallery moves the visitor through time, starting in 1940 with the conception of the U.S. Army Parachute Test Platoon and ending with today's airborne and special operations units.

From the sculpture-like starkness of the winter forest to the colorful masses of summer flowers, the Cape Fear Botanical Garden is beautiful year round. Located on 85 acres where Cross Creek meets the Cape Fear River the CFBG features a large urban forest with nature trails, a natural amphitheater, steep ravines sheltering unusual plants, and a variety of terrain from open pine forest to lush riverbank.
The Cape Fear Regional Theater brings together a unique combination of artists - professionals from outside the region, regional professionals, and non-professionals.

There are two Visitor Information Centers. The main office at 245 Person Street is open to visitors Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. There is a drive through window for convenient answers to your questions. The satellite office is within the Fayetteville Area Transportation Museum and is open from 10 am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday.
The galleries and Museum Store are open Monday through Friday from 10 am - 5pm; Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 5pm. Closed for the following holidays: Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, and December 24 through January 1.
Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1956 the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra's primary goal is to bring quality concert music to residents of the city of Fayetteville and surrounding communities.
